KPMG Taps Veteran as First Female CEO

Lynne DoughtieKPMG LLP announced the promotion of Lynne Doughtie, head of the accounting firm’s fast-growing advisory business, to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. A 30-year veteran of the firm, Ms. Doughtie will assume her new post on July 1st.

“It is an honor to have the chance to lead KPMG at such a pivotal moment, when ensuring quality and confidence in the work we do have never been more important,” said Ms. Doughtie.

In a statement, John Veihmeyer, U.S. Chairman and CEO, said Ms. Doughtie will be “an extraordinary and inspiring leader for KPMG and our people.”
