PORTSMOUTH, NH – The New Hampshire Women’s Foundation recently announced the appointment of Terie Norelli, former Speaker of the N.H. House of Representatives, as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.
Norelli served as the state’s first female Democratic speaker of the House for three terms from 2007-2014. She is known for her commitment to advocacy for women and girls in New Hampshire and across the United States and the world.
“Terie’s lifelong commitment to advancing gender equality makes her the ideal leader for our organization as we focus on an agenda of economic security, leadership, work/life balance, health and wellness, and at-risk girls and women,” said Mary Johanna Brown, board chairwoman of the Women’s Foundation.
